What is a member church?

A member church demonstrates their commitment in five ways:

1. Provide Love INC with financial support
2. Provide a church volunteer  to assist in the office
3. Provide a church contact person
4. Provide a prayer contact person
5. Complete a talent tithe inventory of the services your church membership has to determine what gifts and talents they wish to share with the community.

How does a member church benefit from Love INC?

Love INC works for the church by:

1. Helping the congregation organize to serve people in need
2. Providing a venue where congregations can minister physically AND spiritually to their local community
3. Giving congregations specific, manageable opportunities to serve

How can your church become a member church?

It's as easy as 1-2-3!

1. The church appoints a "contact person":

The contact person is the person that the Love INC office will contact when there is a need in your area that your church might be able to help with. This person should be available during the Love INC office hours (9:00-3:00 pm). Other qualities this person should have:

• They should be a church layperson (not on church staff) if possible
• They should not be shy about asking people to help others
• They should know the church body and be known by the church body

2. The church makes an inventory of it's resources:

Using the forms provided by the Love INC office, the church takes an inventory of those human            resources contained in it's membership. This information is then tabulated by the church and a "summary" is sent to the Love INC office so that we know what is available within your congregation.

3. The church makes a financial commitment to help support the Love INC office in it's ministry. There is no minimum amount to this support and the Love INC office has several different ways that the church can raise its supporting funds.
