A client called needing help with her utilities. We were able to help them with a small payment to each utility. North Olmstead Ev. Friends Church was willing to pay the balance of the electric bill. A few weeks later, we learned their 16 year old son went home to be iwth the Lord. Please keep them in your prayers.
A client, who was unemployed, was denied benefits. She was having a difficult time and was feeling very munch alone without family. Abbe Road Baptist Church helped her to keep her electric on and made an evangelism call. She accepted the Lord as her Savior. Praise The LORD!
A single mother with three teenagers called afteer water was shut off. She had been making minimum payments, but teenagers eat and the payments did not prevent shut off. North Olmstead Ev. Firends helped the client pay half of her bill.
An unemployed mother of one was behind in her rent. She is looking for a permanent job, but in the meantime they were living on child support. Her church, Church of the Open Door was able to bring her current.
A client called needing a gas card to get to Lake County where her daughter was hospitalized. We had none, but Church of the Open Door provided her with gas money.
Faith Ministries Christian Center provided food to a mom and two small children new to the area. Another couple with a toddler needed food and they provided for their food needs also.
A mother called needing help. Her teenage son was often in trouble and to with his issues, she took personal leave and was now being evicted. Church of the Open Door helped to prevent her evection.
A father of two called for help paying school fees for his daughter. He is tow ears behind and this would prevent her from entering high school. St. Joseph Church provided these much needed funds.
A couple called for help with their gas bill. Her hours were cut to part time and the check didn't strech far enough. Christ Evangelical Lutheran provided for this need giving the couple some breathing room. |
